About the role
Job Title: Software Engineer II Locations: Remote Duration: 6 + Months .NET to Java Migrate This position is a senior-level position. Candidate should have excellent communication and ownership qualities. Key Responsibilities Develop and enhance consumer-facing web applications within the View Accounts & Self-Service portfolio. Build modern front-end applications using React. Develop backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot. Contribute to cloud-native application development and deployment within Azure. Support modernization efforts as applications transition from legacy .NET solutions to React and Java architectures. Develop and maintain middleware and microservices supporting customer digital banking experiences. Collaborate with technical leads, engineers, and product teams to deliver planned work within PI cycles. Participate in production support and periodic on-call coverage as required. Required Qualifications Professional software engineering experience at a mid-to-senior level. Strong hands-on experience with React development. Strong hands-on experience with Java development. Experience building or supporting web-based applications. Experience developing APIs, backend services, or middleware components. Experience working with Spring Boot and microservices architectures. Ability to work independently and contribute quickly within an established engineering team. Solid communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Azure cloud services. Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Previous banking or financial services experience. Exposure to modernizing legacy .NET applications. Experience supporting large-scale consumer-facing digital platforms. Familiarity with Angular and existing .NET environments.
