About the role
Job Title: Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Python / TypeScript) Location: Sunnyvale, CA No OPT and CPT W2 only About the Role We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design, develop, and scale backend services and user-facing applications, including AI-powered workflows. The ideal candidate will work across the stack using Python and FastAPI on the backend and TypeScript on the frontend, helping bring LLM-based features into production. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance APIs and backend services using Python, FastAPI, and Uvicorn. - Build responsive, maintainable frontend applications and Node.js-based components using TypeScript. - Design, model, and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, indexing, query tuning, and migrations. - Develop agentic and LLM-powered workflows using LangGraph and LangChain. - Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and well-documented code. - Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decisions. - Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to translate requirements into reliable, scalable solutions. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance, security, and reliability of production systems. Required Qualifications - Strong professional experience with Python, including asynchronous programming. - Hands-on experience building and deploying production APIs using FastAPI and Uvicorn. - Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript tooling. - Solid experience with PostgreSQL, including relational data modeling and SQL performance tuning. - Strong understanding of RESTful API design, authentication, authorization, and software engineering best practices. - Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with LangGraph and LangChain, including agent development, tool calling, RAG pipelines, and stateful multi-step workflows. - Familiarity with LLM application patterns, including prompt design, evaluation, and observability. - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Nice to Have - Experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, and RDS. - Experience with infrastructure as code and cloud-native deployment practices.
