About the role
Position: Senior Full Stack Developer Location: Cupertino, CA (Day 1 Onsite – No Remote) Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in backend development, frontend frameworks, database architecture, and cross-platform scripting. The ideal candidate should be capable of making independent technical decisions, mentoring junior developers, and delivering scalable solutions across web, mobile, and hardware-adjacent platforms. Technical Requirements Backend Development – Python - 3+ years of Python development experience. - Strong proficiency in Flask, including RESTful APIs, middleware, blueprints, and app factory patterns. - Experience with FastAPI, asynchronous endpoints, dependency injection, Pydantic, and OpenAPI. - Experience with SQLAlchemy, ORM modeling, and query optimization. - Hands-on experience with pytest and unit testing. Frontend Development – React, Kendo UI, and TypeScript - 3+ years of React development experience. - Experience with Kendo UI for React. - Strong knowledge of React hooks, component lifecycle, and state management tools such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand. - Experience building responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces. - Experience integrating TypeScript into React applications. General Engineering Skills - Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON-RPC 2.0. - Experience with Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews. - Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills. - Strong shell scripting skills. Nice-to-Have Skills - macOS application development using Objective-C, AppKit, or Cocoa. - iOS/macOS development using Swift or SwiftUI. - Linux/Unix server administration. - Data visualization tools or BI integrations. - Familiarity with the uv Python package manager and Hatchling build system. - Knowledge of battery management systems or embedded hardware domains. - Experience with I2C and SMBus communication protocols. - Familiarity with TotalPhase Aardvark or Promira hardware adapters.
