About the role
Job Title: Full Stack Developer (AI / MCP Server) Location: Remote (U.S.) Location Type: Remote - must be able to work Central Time (CST) hours Start Date: ASAP (approx. 2 weeks from offer) Duration: Contract through 12/31/2026 Compensation: $80-125/hr W2 Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship. Job Description: Our client, a leading internet security and cloud services company, is seeking a Full Stack Developer with hands-on AI and MCP server experience to join a small, focused project team. This developer will design, build, and maintain a secure internal application that supports authentication, access control, and operational workflows, integrating with MCP tooling, OAuth-based authentication, and enterprise systems including Oracle. This is a highly independent role suited for a senior engineer who can own their work end to end with minimal oversight. Responsibilities: - Build and maintain MCP servers that connect Oracle Cloud systems to command-line tools - Integrate Oracle with access provisioning tooling to automate user access workflows - Design and build a secure internal application using React and modern frontend practices - Implement interactive user flows for setup, configuration, validation, and status reporting - Integrate with MCP tools, Zero Trust access controls, and OAuth-based authentication flows - Develop secure REST API integrations with internal and external systems - Manage environment variables, secrets, and configuration securely - Add input validation, error handling, logging, and troubleshooting support - Document application behavior, setup steps, and operational considerations Required Qualifications: - 5 years of full stack development experience - Hands-on development experience building AI solutions (not just using AI tools) - Proven experience building MCP servers, with specific project examples - Strong experience with React - Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript - Experience integrating REST APIs and JSON-based services - Working knowledge of OAuth, authentication, and authorization concepts - Experience with secrets and configuration management - Strong debugging, logging, and observability skills - Security fundamentals, including least privilege and input validation - Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal hand-holding - Strong communication skills - LinkedIn profile required Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP - Familiarity with Cloudflare products, Cloudflare Access, or Zero Trust concepts - Experience building internal enterprise applications or workflow tools - Experience designing admin, setup, or configuration interfaces - Background in tech, SaaS, or manufacturing environments
