DevOps Engineer – Google Cloud & Conversational AI Charlotte, North Carolina 6+ Months Need U.S Citizen & Green Card Holders Minimum years of experience: 5-8 years We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), CI/CD pipeline development, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The candidate will be responsible for automating deployments, managing cloud infrastructure, and supporting the release and operation of conversational AI and contact-center platforms. The role involves working closely with software developers, QA teams, security teams, and Conversational AI engineers to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient deployments across multiple environments. Key Responsibilities - CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Google Cloud Build, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Argo CD. - Google Cloud Infrastructure: Provision and manage GCP services, including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Build, and IAM. - Infrastructure Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools. - Release and Deployment Management: Coordinate deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments. - Deployment Automation: Develop scripts and implement blue-green or canary deployment strategies to minimize downtime and production risks. - Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Configure monitoring, logging, and alerts using Google Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Datadog, or similar tools. - Conversational AI Integration: Support integrations between Kore.ai IVR platforms and Google Conversational Agents/Dialogflow CX, including APIs, webhooks, and telephony transfers. - Security and Access Management: Work with security teams to manage IAM roles, enforce least-privilege access, and address vulnerabilities. - Production Support: Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline failures, deployment issues, and production incidents. - Documentation and Collaboration: Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks. Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and on-call support as required. Required Technical Skills - DevOps Experience: 2–5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related field. - Conversational AI Experience: Hands-on experience supporting, deploying, or integrating Gemini Enterprise CX, Google Dialogflow CX, Kore.ai, or similar conversational AI and contact-center platforms. - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering, QA, security, product, and Conversational AI/NLU teams. - CI/CD: At least 2 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using one or more of the following: Jenkins, Google Cloud Build, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Argo CD - Google Cloud Platform: At least 2 years of hands-on GCP experience, particularly with GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Build, Pub/Sub, and IAM. - Infrastructure as Code: Practical experience with Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager. - Scripting: Experience with Python, Bash, or Groovy. - Containers and Orchestration: Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes/GKE. - Version Control: Experience with Git, GitHub, or GitLab. - Conversational AI: Foundational knowledge of Google CCAI, Dialogflow CX/Conversational Agents, Kore.ai, or similar IVR and voice platforms. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
