About the role
DataDog/AppDynamics Location: Hybrid - Scottsdale, AZ (2 days onsite is mandatory) Duration: 6+ months Interview: **ONSITE INTERVIEW REQUIRED** Visa: All, Except H1b We have a requirement for a DataDog/AppDynamics resource with the skill set outlined below. Could you please share candidate profiles that match these qualifications? Required Qualifications - 3+ years of strong experience with observability stacks, including DataDog, AppDynamics, and Quantum Metrics. - Expertise in DataDog and AppDynamics agent deployment, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting. - Hands-on experience setting up native mobile, browser real-user, and synthetic monitoring. - SME with 5+ years of experience in full-stack observability, including APM tools, metrics collection, and log and trace analysis, with a passion for automation. - Experience designing and developing automation for routine tasks using GitOps and Python. - 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a solid understanding of Kubernetes. - Strong monitoring SME who can collaborate with various teams to gather monitoring requirements, and design, develop, and implement effective monitoring solutions and alerting strategies. Role Breakdown This role is 70% hands-on, focused on administration and automation tasks for DataDog, AppDynamics and Quantum Metrics. The remaining 30% involves Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) tasks related to Prometheus, OpenTelemetry (OTel), Grafana, and similar tools. Preferred Qualifications - Experience leveraging AI for automation, noise reduction, and toil reduction. - Experience with Dynatrace, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry (OTel), and Grafana.
