About the role
Role: AI Platform Engineer Location: SCOTTSDALE, AZ / Hybrid Rate Range: Depends on Experience (DOE) / Open to Negotiate. Mode of Hire: Contract Duration: Long Term Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled AI Platform Engineer to design, build, automate, deploy, and support enterprise AI platforms running on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Generative AI, Kubernetes, GKE, Terraform, CI/CD automation, observability, production operations, and platform engineering. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on enabling AI/ML and Generative AI [contact hidden] through scalable cloud-native platforms, automation frameworks, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities AI Platform Engineering • Build and support enterprise AI platform capabilities on GCP. • Create automation [contact hidden] that improve platform scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency. Generative AI Engineering • Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures. • Integrate OpenAI APIs and enterprise LLM services. • Implement vector search, embeddings, prompt engineering, and AI agents. Kubernetes & Cloud Platform Engineering • Deploy and manage applications on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). • Configure Kubernetes deployments, services, ingress controllers, autoscaling, ConfigMaps, and Secrets. Infrastructure Automation • Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. DevOps & CI/CD • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines. • Automate application testing, builds, containerization, deployments, and release validation. Observability & Reliability • Implement Prometheus and Grafana monitoring [contact hidden]. • Create enterprise dashboards, alerts, and operational intelligence capabilities. • Analyze platform health, application performance, and operational metrics. Programming & Automation • Strong Python development experience. • Experience building operational automation. • Working knowledge of Java.
