About the role
Software Developer (Java Backend) with DevOps — onsite in Cupertino, CA, 12+ month contract, 8-10+ years overall (5+ years software development). Strong Java (or Python / JavaScript / Go) backend engineering on Unix/Linux, with experience in distributed systems, networking, information retrieval, or systems/security software. Docker/containerd and CI/CD (Jenkins, CodeDeploy) required. Preferred: Kubernetes, AWS, Postgres, Kafka, Redis, big data (Spark, Flink, MPP/data warehousing), microservices and service mesh, and some UI development.
