About the role
JOB TITLE - FULL STACK DEVELOPER LOCATION: 100% Remote CONTRACT- 12 MONTHS WORK HOURS: EST The project involves a Payments/Billing System Migration for a Bill Pay SaaS platform. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - 5+ years of professional Software Engineering experience. - Recent Payments Industry experience is mandatory. - Prior payment system development/migration experience required. - Full Stack development: Java, Spring Boot, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3. - REST APIs development, integration and consumption. - AWS Cloud development and deployment. - SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL and Oracle Stored Procedures. - Apache Kafka and event-driven services/applications. - Frontend state management: Redux or Context API. - Cloud-native development and cloud-native SaaS applications. - Software Architecture and Object-Oriented Design. - Security and secure coding best practices. - Responsive Design, Accessibility, Web Performance and frontend best practices. - Reusable frontend components, modern frontend architecture and Design Systems/Component Libraries. - Automated testing: Unit, Component, Integration and End-to-End Testing. - Testing tools: JUnit, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar. - Experience improving performance, scalability, reliability, security and operational excellence. - Agile development experience. - Strong problem-solving, collaboration and communication skills. - Experience with geographically distributed engineering teams preferred. - Financial services/payments experience involving Bill Pay, Credit Card, Accounts Receivable, or Accounts Payable preferred. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS - Must be US-based and able to work EST hours. - Must complete a live coding assessment before submission. - No AI or IDE permitted during the assessment. - Coding assessment results must be included with the submission. - Experience working within a 3–5 developer team on a Payments/Billing migration project.
